Cookie Policy
Learn how KareOps uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, analytics and website performance.
Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how KAREOPS PRIVATE LIMITED ("KareOps", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with www.kareops.com and related website functionality.
The current KareOps website uses browser storage for authentication, preferences and campaign attribution, and includes Google Tag Manager. The source code does not itself define a complete list of cookies that may be created by tags configured inside the Google Tag Manager container. This Policy therefore describes confirmed technology categories without inventing cookie names or lifetimes.
Strictly Necessary Technologies
Technologies in this category support a service or action requested by the user, account authentication, security, network delivery or other core operation. The KareOps application stores an authentication token in local storage after successful email OTP verification so that the browser can maintain an authenticated session. Removing that value will sign the browser out or prevent access to account-protected areas.
KareOps may also use essential server, hosting or security technologies necessary to deliver requests and protect the service. The public source code does not establish the names or durations of any infrastructure cookies, so none are listed here without verification.
Functional Technologies
The website uses local storage to remember user-interface and product choices such as selected industry, display zoom and selected currency. These values make the website more convenient but are not used as the server-side basis for authorising access to KareOps data.
Disabling or clearing functional storage may reset those choices to their defaults. The website may continue to work, but you may need to select the preferences again.
Analytics and Performance Technologies
The website loads Google Tag Manager on page load. Google Tag Manager is a tag-management system: it allows analytics and other scripts to be configured in a remotely managed container. The application also sends selected diagnostic events, such as client startup and unhandled error events, to the website's data layer for tags to process.
If analytics tags are enabled in the container, they may process information such as pages visited, interactions, approximate location derived from network information, browser or device information, referral source and diagnostic data. The exact active tags, cookie names, durations and provider settings cannot be reliably determined from this repository alone because the container configuration is managed outside the website source code.
Campaign Attribution
When a KareOps authentication or signup URL includes UTM campaign parameters, the website stores the supplied source, medium, campaign, term and content values in session storage and may send them with a signup request. This helps KareOps understand how a signup was referred or attributed. The values are stored only when a relevant URL parameter is present.
Marketing Technologies
The current website source does not confirm a dedicated advertising or cross-site marketing cookie. Because Google Tag Manager can deploy tags without a source-code release, the live container must be reviewed to confirm whether any marketing tag is active. If KareOps introduces advertising or marketing technologies that require notice or consent, we will update this Policy and provide appropriate choices before relying on them.
First-Party and Third-Party Technologies
First-party technologies are controlled through the KareOps website, such as the confirmed browser-storage values used for account sessions and interface preferences. Third-party technologies may be provided by analytics, communications, hosting or security services integrated with KareOps.
Google Tag Manager is the confirmed third-party tag-management service in the current website. A tag loaded through it may be governed by the relevant provider's own privacy and cookie information. KareOps does not control a third party's independent website or browser controls.
Consent, Preferences and Browser Controls
Where applicable law requires consent for an optional technology, KareOps must request that consent before relying on the technology and allow withdrawal as easily as consent was given. The current website loads Google Tag Manager when a page opens and does not currently expose a dedicated on-site cookie preference centre. The publication of this Policy does not by itself create or record consent.
You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies and clear local or session storage. Some browsers and extensions also provide tracking protection. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser's help information. Blocking necessary storage may sign you out, prevent protected account functions from working, or reset saved preferences.
To ask about a technology or withdraw a communication permission, contact us using the details below. See the Privacy Policy for information about consent withdrawal and data rights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when website technology, Google Tag Manager configuration, service providers, legal requirements or our practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Material changes that require notice or consent will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
